Calling all Dads living in Bunbury and Busselton!
Have you ever wanted to learn how to be better at talking with your child and help them manage their emotions?
In August our 4families team will be running two free 7-week programs for Dads called Tuning In to Kids.
This program teaches Dads how to help their child manage when things get tough, to connect with their child, and to support their child to learn important social and emotional skills.
Children often have big emotions, but it’s up to their parents and carers to teach them how to work through their feelings and develop emotional intelligence.
Children with higher emotional intelligence:
- have greater success with making and keeping friends
- have better concentration at school
- are more able to calm down when upset or angry
