Relationships Australia WA is pleased to announce that Vice President Noelene Jennings PSM was elected as President and Chair of the Board of Relationships Australia WA on 28 June, 2023.

Ms Jennings succeeds Chris Lewis, who has served as President of the not-for-profit since February 2014 having been involved with the organisation since 2003.

“I feel very privileged to take on this role at such an exciting time for our organisation. I am very excited to work with the Board and the team led by CEO, Danielle Newport, to support and help enable the organisation to continue to offer and provide contemporary and needed relationship support services. I also acknowledge the outstanding community service and leadership of Chris Lewis who has been a driver and advocate for success of the Board and the organisation,” said Ms Jennings.

Ms Jennings re-joined the Board in May 2018. Noelene is an experienced board member and is currently Director of Corporate Strategy and Performance with the City of Wanneroo. Prior to this role she worked in State Government positions in South Australia and Western Australia, and in local government in Western Australia.

Relationships Australia WA CEO Danielle Newport said, “I look forward to working closely with Noelene and the Board to implement our refreshed strategy, which both Chris and Noelene were instrumental in creating. Noelene’s strong leadership, her strategic experience and knowledge of our organisation and sector make her the ideal appointment to lead the Board and guide us into the future.”
