Relationships Australia WA’s Peel Senior Relationship Service is hosting a forum on Tuesday 2 August, providing an opportunity for networking and community education about elder abuse and the issues impacting seniors. The event will feature guest speakers from COTA, Older Persons Rights Service, Elder Abuse Action Australia and Advocare, followed by lunch.

The Peel Senior Relationship Service provides free case management and mediation for people over the age of 65, or 55 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, who at risk or living with elder abuse.
Since commencing in April 2019, approximately 80 families have accessed the service, and this number is expected to grow, through continued funding and increasing community awareness.
