Setting Healthy Boundaries

Denmark - Monday 25 October, 10am-12:30pm

In order to experience satisfying connections with other people – whether it be family, work colleagues or love relationships – we need to set healthy boundaries. This workshop looks at
the difference between healthy and unhealthy boundaries and explores skills that help with good boundary setting.

We will explore the following topics:

  • What boundaries we have in various relationships
  • The difference between healthy and unhealthy boundaries
  • Speaking up and standing up for our needs without being offensive
  • Being "under responsible" and "over responsible" and how to manage this better

Accidental Counsellor

Albany - Tuesday 26 October, 9am-12:30pm

This half day workshop will provide you with the knowledge and skills to help you respond to them in a safe way, without feeling you have to advise. You'll also be clearer about what to say or do so that you don't take on their problems yourself.

This workshop will:

  • Explore the differences between helping and rescuing
  • Define the role of 'Accidental Counsellor'
  • Look at this model including desirable traits and skills of someone in this role
  • Explore the significance of self-awareness, emotions, inner critic, personal perception filters and empathy
