Relationships Australia WA employs staff in a range of clinical fields including counselling, family dispute resolution, education, and group and community work, as well as in corporate and administrative areas.

Training and supervision
Relationships Australia is strongly committed to high quality internal training. We also provide opportunities for external professional development in specific areas. Clinical staff have regular individual and group supervision.
Student placements
Relationships Australia offers placements to students undertaking their final clinical placements in the degrees which meet our essential qualification criteria. To find out if you are eligible please contact the Placement Coordinator for your program of study at your university.
Counsellor qualifications
All Relationships Australia counselling staff are required to have:
- A tertiary degree in psychology, social work or counselling
- Some training and experience in counselling
- A current Police Clearance
- A current Working with Children Check
Mandatory vaccination
Relationships Australia WA is required to meet the State Government's mandatory COVID-19 vaccination requirements including proof of your first dose vaccination by 1 December, 2021 and your full vaccination by 31 December, 2021. Evidence of your COVID-19 vaccination status is required prior to commencement.
