Do you feel like having some space to talk about something on your mind? This is what Moorditj Yarning offers - a place and opportunity where you feel comfortable.
When you reach out to us you will be welcomed and respected. Moorditj Yarning has been working closely with Aboriginal people in the Langford/ Gosnells, Clarkson/ Joondalup and Mandurah areas.
Our counsellors have strong experience working with family and relationship issues, grief, loss and domestic violence. We can either meet you one-to-one or offer you the chance to join one of our groups. These group meetings are informal, open to ideas - and can be fun too.
Yarning about things worrying you is often healing, so please give us a call on 1300 364 277.
We provide support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and children in the Perth metropolitan area affected by family violence and/or sexual assault.
The aim is to promote the positive social and emotional wellbeing and mental health of families and the community, to build resilience and prevent psychological distress and suicide.
