Do you live in Mandurah or Pinjarra? Do you need help to strengthen your relationship with your child?

Contrary to popular belief, we don’t always know automatically what to do as a parent. Join other dads of children aged up to 15 years to build skills to assist your child to be positive, flexible and assertive. Research has shown that being a warm and supportive, involved and engaged father impacts positively on your child’s mental wellbeing.

How can we help you?

The 4Dads program offers information, education, referrals and support for fathers of children up to 18 years in the Mandurah and Pinjarra areas.

Dads & Kids Group: A free interactive breakfast club for Dads and their kids, and to meet other Dads in the area.
Workshops: We offer online workshops for fathers on a range of topics. See events below for our upcoming workshops.
Dads Counselling Sessions: Book a Dads 1-1 no cost counselling session by calling or emailing us..

Upcoming Events

Dad and Kids Breakfast Club

This FREE event runs every fortnight during the school term and is a great way to meet other dads. Drop in for a fun morning of free activities for you and your kids and enjoy a free breakfast and a coffee on us.

Time: 9:30am - 11:30am

When: Saturday 28 May, 11 June, 25 June, 9, 23 July.

Tuning in to Kids - a FREE parenting program

Tuning in to Kids is an emotion-focussed parenting program which provides parents and carers with skills in emotion coaching. When children develop emotional skills they are better able to negotiate the ups and downs of life.

Most importantly, it is an ‘evidence-based’ program developed by the University of Melbourne. More than 100,000 parents have attended Tuning in to Kids programs in Australia alone.

Learn how to:

be better at talking with & understanding your child
help your child better manage their emotions
prevent behaviour problems with your child
teach your child how to deal with conflict

This FREE course runs over six, two hour sessions at Cooper Street office in Mandurah.

DIY Dads @ Bunnings

Join us for a night of DIY and pizza at Bunnings Mandurah. We'll be leading you through a fun hands-on activity for dads and their kids. We’re going to build something - try your hand at some woodwork and painting!

Men's Health Week - Free Dads BBQ

Join us in celebrating Men’s Health Week. Gather with your mates and fellow dads for a night of eating, talking and sharing stories of what it is to be a Dad.

Free Night at the Movies - Men's Health Week

Grab some popcorn and come along to our free movie night at Reading Cinema to watch latest Pixar Animation, Lightyear, which tells the story of a young Buzz Lightyear as he embarks on an intergalactic adventure!

Book a FREE 1-1 Counselling session, Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday at no cost if you are a Dad and live in the Mandurah or Pinjarra region.

Fathering After Separation

This workshop, held in a male-friendly environment, will help you develop parenting skills that are responsive to your children's needs, and to assist you find helpful ways to stay in contact with your children.

Dads Raising Boys

Boys whose dads are involved with them from a young age do better in lots of ways - academically, emotionally and socially. This workshop will discuss the importance of the role Dad's play in the development and nurture of boys.

Dads Raising Girls

Find out how to build a rewarding father-daughter relationship. As the primary male role model in a young girl’s life, Dads play an important role in the development of their self-concept and self esteem.
