Our 4Dads service have released their calendar of free activities for Term 3! Check out their upcoming events for Dads and their kids in Mandurah and the surrounding areas to enjoy together.
Talking to other Dads and learning from their experiences can be one of the best ways to learn and build new skills to improve your family relationships and raise capable young people.
Capturing the Moment – movie-making @ Breakfast Club
We're running a special series of Breakfast Clubs to teach Dads how to make short films featuring their children. 'Capturing the Moment' will be run by Mark Labrow from Mandurah Performing Arts Centre, who will guide you through filming and editing to create short films using your mobile phone, so you can relive these special memories in the future.
- Session 1: Introduction to videography and photography - 23 July
- Session 2: Capturing film and stills - 6 August
- Session 3: Editing - 20 August
- Session 4: A special Dads red carpet screening of the films they have created - 3 September
Please note you can still drop in for the Breakfast Club even if you would prefer not to take part in the movie-making sessions, or can't make every session. We'll be running our customary free BBQ breakfast and coffee, as well as other fun activities for you and your kids to enjoy.
Tuning in to Teens – free online course
Would you like to learn how to:
- be better at talking with your teen?
- be better at understanding your teen?
- help your teen learn to manage their emotions?
- help to prevent behaviour problems in your teen?
- teach your teen to deal with conflict?
This FREE six-session parenting program for parents of 10 - 16 year olds will show you how to help your teen develop emotional intelligence.

DIY Dads @ Bunnings
Dads and kids, don’t miss this fun night of DIY and pizza at Bunnings Central Mandurah.
This is a free hands-on event for you to try building, woodwork and painting together!
We'll be creating a BBQ caddy. All materials are provided, follow by pizza and refreshments.
Time: 6.00pm - 7.30pm
