Supporting parents in the Great Southern

4families have a range of upcoming free parenting programs to support parents and caregivers living in the Great Southern.

Mindful Moments in May

As part of the City of Albanys All 4 Toddlers May program, they'll be presenting three Mindful Moments sessions.

These short sessions will showcase the Australian Childhood Foundation’s Bringing Up Great Kids program. This is a mindful, respectful and reflective program that builds parent confidence and connection. It aims to promote positive, nurturing and respectful relationships which lead to better health and wellbeing outcomes for our kids (and it’s pretty good for us too).

Each session will briefly focus on a topic from the program and will include some take home information and resources. The full 6 week program will be run by 4families in August 2021.

Session 1, Wednesday 12 May - You first

How do we care for ourselves? How do we parent and why?

Session 2, Wednesday 19 May - Emotions

What they look like, why we see them and how to manage them.

Session 3, Wednesday 26 May - Connection

How to nurture and grow our relationships with our children
