Relationships Australia WA is now providing a Redress Support Service (RSS) to people who have experienced institutional child sexual abuse and who are thinking about making an application for the National Redress Scheme.
This free service is available to everyone throughout WA, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people from a culturally diverse background and people with a disability. If you are unable to visit us or live in a rural area we may be able to visit you, or will provide support over the phone.
Support and assistance will be provided to people throughout their engagement with the National Redress process, including:
- individual support for applying for Redress face-to-face or by phone
- referral to other support and legal services
- giving you all the information you need on the National Redress Scheme
- assistance with National Redress application.
We previously delivered Royal Commission Support Services which concluded at the end of December 2018. If you want to discuss how we can support you, or wish to refer someone to RSS please call us on 6164 0255 or visit our website here.
